Q: What does the title read for?
A: The title of a book is x, which can be read as X or cross. X is not only the echo of the final protagonist image in the book, but also the symbol of opposing campus bullying.

Q: Do the colors in the book have any symbolic meaning?
A: In the book, skin color is used to show people with a kind heart, and finally it is used to show the unknown character who come to rescue the protagonist. Blue represents sadness and is used to draw the protagonist. Yellow indicates violence and is used to draw the classmates who hurts the protagonist. The black background in the book is the inner change of the protagonist, from the light at the beginning to chaos and then to darkness, finally he got rid of and regained the light.

Q: Does the protagonist have a name?
A: The protagonist in the book does not has a name. The reason is that I don't want to limit him. He can be a victim of any school bullying, of course the protagonist can also be a girl.

Q: What's the yellow item the protagonist put on his head?
A: It's a paper bag. The paper bag the protagonist found is a symbol of his choice to escapism, and the X he draws is his hatred of bullying.

Q: What is the hand in the end of the story?
A: At the end, the protagonist asks who the hand is and got a reply. I don't describe the answer in the book, which I hope readers can imagine for themselves. But these hands will definitely lead him away from the dark world and towards the light.

Q&A about the book

Yellow is still the symbol of violence, the heart of dark blue is the heart of the bully, and the sky-blue background is the color echo of the main character of my book. “Be kind" is not only the theme of my design, but also the slogan of opposing campus bullying. I hope this poster can send everyone a signal of against school bullying.

The doll is made of the cloth with the closest color to that in the book and is sewn by hand.
